I find emu oil is very helpful for bruises. Sometime ago I had a bruise on my arm. It had lovely shades of brown, black and blue. I say this satirically. I topically applied emu oil on my bruise for about 3 days. Each day I noticed that the bruise was fading away until about the fourth day when it was completely gone. I attribute emu oil’s healing power to its hyper-oxygenating properties and transdermal penetrating ability.  It helps blood flow circulation and consequently speeds up the healing process.

I have used an emu oil product, Intensive Pain Relief with emu oil, for years to help ease my arthritis symptoms. Years ago I got a staph infection which destroyed the cartilage in my right hip.
